About Chips Ahoy
Chips Ahoy! is one of America's most popular cookies, sold by Mondelēz International. The US formulation contains TBHQ as an antioxidant preservative. Various Chips Ahoy varieties containing colored candies or frostings use Red 40, Blue 1, and other synthetic dyes. European cookie equivalents do not use TBHQ and rely on natural colorants where needed.
