Delete Your Account & Data

You can permanently delete your BannedPantry account and all associated personal data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself (instant)

  1. Sign in and go to your Account page.
  2. Scroll to Your Data & Privacy.
  3. Select Delete my account, type DELETE to confirm.

Your account is removed immediately and any active subscription is cancelled.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't sign in, email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We verify ownership and complete deletion within 30 days (usually within a few business days), as required by GDPR and CCPA.

What gets deleted

  • Your login and profile (email, plan, settings).
  • Your scan history and OCR scans.
  • Family profiles and ingredient filters.
  • Pantry-audit history and entitlements.
  • Push-notification subscriptions, referrals, and re-flag alerts.

We may retain a minimal record of a transaction (e.g., an invoice) where required by tax or accounting law. Anonymous, aggregated analytics that can no longer identify you are not deleted. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
